Suggestions:
1. In partys and gatherings , use paper plate and cups or plastic which is reusable and recycleable.
2. When buying food from vendor's, bring your own container.
3. In mass functions, such as Thaipusam......... remember the good old days where food was served and not packed and given away? The donators have just gotten lazy nowadays! Serving food is the Indian Culture. So can use banana leave, waxed paper, etc. For those who still insist to pack back home...... their prob.......... they can pack in papers.

The idea is to avoid whenever possible.
